"Mom's Beautiful Day" explores the relationship between caregivers and their loved ones with Dementia; what began in her newspaper column as the story of a day's outing with her mother has gone on to inspire caregivers everywhere.
In "A Day for Soup", a bad cold and a hearty lunch whisk Adams and her elders off to adventure in this expedition from family lore to Cajun Country and the meaning of soup.
Adams' other books include Glory Days: 365 Inspired Moments in African-American History and Sister Days: 365 Inspired Moments in African American Women's History. She is the publisher/producer of BackPax, a children's media company.
