Wonderful, sobering story of the 2 hearts of man

Fantastic, action filled story of what the American Revolution would be like, if it were to be fought today. A well described depiction of Edmund Burke's quote: "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing". I do not believe that the people that make America great are the ones to sit and do nothing, they are the ones that would lay it all on the line, simply because "it IS the right thing to do". Unfortunately, in today's selfish, me first, society, I could some of the power hungry ne'er do wells, taking advantage of a similar catastrophe today.... I pray that it never comes to that. A fantastic novel of imaginative events, described well enough that you can picture this story becoming non-fiction in tomorrows newspaper. I hope to see more from the author very soon

Wildly entertaining

This was an exciting and action packed story. I could not stop listening to the audiobook version. Even with my one hour and 20 minute commute I found myself arriving home and sitting in the driveway wanting to listen to more. This story does not seem as far-fetched as I would have said four years ago. In reality, it is a reminder to all citizens that we need to make sure our government works for us, we the people. Getting too cozy with our enemies and dismantling our government might not be the best idea. This book takes it a step further but it is worth reading for the entertainment value. After all, it is entertaining fiction.
The author obviously was in the military because his portrayal of events has details of actions that proves this to be true. The only negative is hearing the narrator sing, LOL, just kidding. Well, done on a truly entertaining book. Should there be another book, I will certainly be reading that one as well.

Unremarkable plot

I did not like the simplistic limited vision of the story. Might be a good teen read.
