Patience and Anticipation

Alex has a plan upon his return to Heart Falls and that includes changing Yvette’s opinion of him. After being her tormentor for so long his new goal is to show her how much he cares and knows her. An amazing Christmas advent desk gives her a chance to get to know him and spend time with him. This is such a sweet story that has a build up to a great love story. Yvette finds a confident and supportive soul in Alex as her feelings towards him changes she see a man that she could spend her life with.

This one was a bit too sweet for me and not very steamy. Too Hallmark-y.

This is a great book. There is alot of family support and drama. with big Christmas miracles. great friendships. Vivian does a great job in this book another must read or listen.

Unique props for this love story

Alex and Yvette are like grade schoolers who like each other. They find ways to irritate each other. Alex left Heart Falls to take care of his parents for a few months. While he was gone he thought hard about what he really wanted. And he wants Yvette. I love his idea of the Advent desk. An original flare of a Christmas tradition. And it helps in bringing them closer, which is his desire. Is Yvette ready for his end game?

As a side note, for as grumpy as Old Man Raynor was, he has a soft heart. He knew it was time to move and what he offered Yvette was priceless.

This series has been narrated by Tatiana Sokolov and she delivers again in this book.

Loved this story. I love Christmas romance and this was a amazing story. It has everything from romance to Christmas cheer. The characters Alex and Yvette get a chance at a second shot and they have moments of being unsure but in the end they get there HEA. The narration was great.

I thoroughly enjoyed this in audible. The sheer enjoyment of how this story unfolds comes across extremely well in audible and the narrator once again does a good job. This book was kindly gifted to me and couldn’t have come at better time. I lost my dog very suddenly and listening to this helped me cope with her loss. BOOK REVIEW Alex pulls out all the stops to win Yvette's heart. Once again this author has written a book that just made me smile and left me feeling relaxed and happy when I had finished. The sweet and wonderful plan Alex came up with to show Yvette that he was not the complete idiot and smartass that he had behaved like previously, was just a great idea. Loved the whole story and though we don’t get heaps of time with all the others we love in Heart Falls, I thoroughly enjoyed old grumpy Creighton and the reality of what happens to Yvette’s grandparents was nicely and sensibly dealt with. Alex was a real sweetheart and it was lovely to find out more about his background and childhood. He has been blessed with his foster parents, that is for sure. I just would have liked some closure as to Yvette and her family’s attitude. A showdown or good talking about how they made her feel, not that they would listen, but I would have liked Yvette to have said her piece. This is my honest review of this book.

No Need For A Holiday to Enjoy This Book!

This was actually a really nice read. It was a sweet holiday romance without a lot of drama. I liked both Alex and Yvette. I liked the work Alex put in to the relationship, and also the fact that Yvette came to appreciate the time and thought put into Alex's work.

Everyone seemed to be genuine and caring. Even the gruff old guy who lived by himself. I should say everyone other than Yvette's family.

This can be read or listened to as a stand-alone. I wish that I had read other books in the series before reading this because I felt like I was missing some information. Not enough to make the book difficult to follow. Just enough for me to be curious about other people in the book.

The narration was well done by Tatiana Sokolov. I think she handled the voices of the male characters equally as well as the female characters.

I wish that there had been an epilogue about Alex and Yvette's relationship down the road before the epilogue leading into the next characters.
