Sweet Christmas story

This was my first book by this author, and I will definitely listen to it read more! I can’t wait to go to the beginning of the series! I loved the characters. Their story was a sweet page turner.

A sweet feeling listen.

I've had a couple of friends that suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. It's a terrible, painful disease. Very tiresome and draining. So hard to keep a good attitude. Eric is definitely a saint. He has beyond belief patience and over the moon love for Kerri. A very sweet read/listen. The narrator is excellent. She does not over act the characters. She is pleasant to listen to. She brings love and feelings to the story. I voluntarily reviewed an audio version of this book from the author through Story Origin. 4 stars for the story. 5 stars for the narrator.

Eric and Kerri

Eric is in love with Kerri, and asked her to marry him previously. Kerri has rheumatoid arthritis, and does not want to burden Eric with her illness. She loves Eric though. She is still coming to grips with how the illness will impact her life, and her need to alter her life to accommodate the illness.
I was fed up with Kerri, and her attitude. In the end Eric gets through to her, and they give love a chance. Good story line, with well developed characters. I recommend reading the series in order, but not required.

Sweet Romance!

This is the eighth book in the Eureka in Love Series, a small town romance. This is a sweet follow up to Kerri and Eric's story from Chocolate Kisses, book one in the series. Their story is sweet, emotional, and beautifully written. I believe it is better to listen to this series in order. Jenn Lee did a good job with the narration.

Heartwarming romance

I’ve enjoyed River Ford’s books ever since I read Chocolate Kisses, and it was so fun to return to Kerri and Eric’s story. This is an engaging, well-written, shorter story that can be finished in one evening. This story could work as a standalone, but I recommend starting with Book 1, Chocolate Kisses, and listening in order.

PROPOSAL AT CHRISTMAS

A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY LISTEN.! THE NARRATOR DID A GOOD JOB AS WELL. PERFECT FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON.

Charming!

Kerri Manning has been a mess since being diagnosed with RA, obsessing over things that could go wrong, as well as feeling that she's not good enough for others. That's what made her turn down Eric Hall's proposal, but he loves her too much to ever give up on his girl. When he proposes again, she turns him down and begins to shut him out because she's not ready to share her secrets. Unfortunately, she never allows him in and it was about this time that I was losing my patience with her. It's one thing to be worried about your disease and what it might bring, but she was at the point of being terrified and without hope for a happy future with Eric. She was so stubborn and it seemed as if nothing could change her mind, but visiting with her aunt Val, made all the difference in the world. There is an extremely happy ending, but I have to deduct a star for Kerri's over-the-top behavior. The narration is beautifully done by Jenn Lee. Her dynamic voice and distinct intonation brough all of the characters to life!

A sweet story. Nothing special, no surprises. I liked the other books from the series better, but it was sweet enough.
The narrator was good enough.
