Third book is a charm!

Although I was thrown off by listening to Millicent’s narration, it took me a few chapters to adjust to the dialect. II did enjoy the upgrade of the sound effects. Again, the author did well telling a story. Still not a fan of the redundancy of over used phrases (especially in the sex scenes) and there were a few inconsistencies. Overall however, I think this one was better than the first two.

Reader does not fit

The reader is horrible the music playing in the background through the whole book The volume goes up and down it is just horrible do not like it

Narrator was NOT a good fit, but book was Great!

First thing first, this book is really good if you’re a fan of his work. Yes There’s sex, and gore, and so much more.. it’s not for the weak! Third book in the series did not disappoint, but the narrator and the HORRID background music was so hard to listen to. Then to add insult to injury, the narrator volume randomly and continuously increases and decreases in volume so you can’t hear the reading over the music. I LOVE audible, but I’m starting to think there are no checks and balances here. They just give book to anybody to read and put on the platform! Please do better, bc these narrators are killing good books. She’s not bad, this just wasn’t her book and I’m not sure who’s idea the sound effects were but… please stop the madness!

The narrator is horrible!

Omg! The narrator was awful! The whole book was miserable because of her! I bought 3 credits and I have to listen to her! ATP I need black ice to feed her to the hyenas!

The narrator doesn’t fit the story.

i personally know this book is GREAT because i’ve actually read the books. i currently use audiobooks to get through work so i decided to double back on this series. THE NARRATOR RUINED THE BOOK. great story, but the narration is terrible. just doesn’t fit whatsoever.

I hated the narrator

I like the book but the narrator makes you not want to hear the book . I hope the next books aren’t with the same narrator

He won't die

I could be wrong but I thought Crystal's mom got shot and died in the last book but in this one they said she and Crystal were just missing. Also this guy won't die. lol

FIRE THE NARRATOR!!!

The story is so good but hard to hear because of the stupid music & hard to follow at times because of the narrators annoying voice/accent. This should be read by a more urban person, I looked ahead& the whole series is narrated by this lady. Im so disappointed knowing that moving forward.

Gripping Story- poor audio

The storyline continues and leaves you sitting on the edge of your seat to find out what is going to happen next. The explicit nature of this book leaves the listener with a clear visualization of every event taking place. Unfortunately, the narration for this book is less than desirable that impacts the overall audiobook.
