Martha King is overweight and lacking in confidence but her family is wealthy. Jacob Yoder decides that she would make a great match for his only son Isaac. However, Isaac isn't keen on the idea.
Martha King has begun to think that she will never find a husband. Her problems with overeating began when her father died when she was young. Food was her comfort and her only friend.
