David has a huge problem. Even though it's early in the school year, he's failing his classes. Things get worse when Myrna, a girl with magical power, shows up at his doorstep. She is upset about her placement using a magic she doesn't like. She is destined to become a banshee, and those who hear her wail are doomed to die or suffer the loss of someone close to them.
