Valuable book for any who want to better their marriage

Some very solid points and excellent tidbits that aren't typically covered in marriage books. An inspiring and encouraging book that is easily applicable and very readable.

Exactly what I needed.

This was exactly what I needed. A young husband who wants to be a great husband, is exactly who should read this.

A couple of nuggets, but mostly dated

Tried to like it
Kept trying to like it
Never quite got there

I did finish the book eventually, but it feels like it was written for the 60+ crowd....in the 70s. As a guy just breaking 40 in 2019 it just didn't cut it for me. Well intentioned, it just felt more like a book for grandpas and older, not anyone younger, at least not as a whole. Like my title said, a couple good nuggets, but hardly anything I wasn't aware of before. And the reading style reminded me of the grandpa (Peter Falk) in Princess Bride. Very congenial, but not for adults....unless you already have a xhildhood soft spot for him.

The takeaway: so many little things that I can do.
