Acerca de esta escucha
You have heard of the St. Louis Cardinals, but is the Cardinal the state bird of Missouri? Do you want to know what bird seen by Lewis and Clark in Missouri is no longer living today? Of birds introduced to Missouri, do you want to know which ones have been harmful? If you answered yes to any of these questions then this book is for you.
Fifty Things to Know About Birds in Missouri by Stephen L. Reinbold offers an approach to bird lore in the state of Missouri that most books on birds of the Show-Me-State overlook. They tell you how to identify the birds and that is all. Although there's nothing wrong with that, based on knowledge from the world's leading experts, there are surprising answers to these and other questions about Missouri’s feathered creatures. In this book you'll discover the largest, the smallest, the fastest, the tamest, and the most unusual avian species. This will help you appreciate how varied and wonderful the natural history of the state really is. By the time you finish this book, you will know the answers to the above questions and many more, so get YOUR copy today. You'll be glad you did.

Learned lots of great info!
My only complaint is that I wish it was longer! I really enjoy bird watching so I thought I would try this book. Now I want to look up information about whooping cranes being taught new migratory patterns, that is fascinating!!! I also loved the quick tip about how to keep koi’s safe from cranes! The narrator did an excellent job and speaking the written bird noises was impressive! I knew just what bird was being described.
