When Jon and the others went to Utah to pick up the president of the church, they did not expect to get the reception they got.
I get to the back and steel myself in case I take a bullet when I go around the truck. We are all wearing Kevlar vests, but they won’t help if the bullet hits you in the head or an exposed part of your body. I am now behind the truck and can see that there are children in there as well. The ones right at the back are pointing behind me and to the right. I turn just in time to get hit in the chest with at least four bullets fired from an automatic weapon. I get thrown back by the force of the bullets and when I hit the ground, I lose my gun. I am in pain because those bullets bruised or broke several ribs, but I can’t just lie here or I will be dead. I grab my sidearm and see the head man coming toward me with his gun raised to fire.
