Reading 29 Degrees by Eric S. Lee felt less like reading a book and more like sitting across from someone who understands the inner journey.

Early on, I recognized a familiar spiritual current — the same depth I’ve experienced through A New Earth, The Untethered Soul, and A Course in Miracles. There’s a shared language of awareness, surrender, and perception. A reminder that peace is not found by changing the world outside us, but by transforming how we see it.

Something interesting kept happening as I read. I would think, I wish Eric would address this… — and then he would. It felt intuitive. Almost like the book anticipated the questions forming in my mind. That experience alone created a sense of connection that is hard to describe.

The way Eric weaves meaningful quotes together with his personal stories makes the book feel alive. It’s not theory. It’s lived wisdom. He speaks about setbacks becoming blessings, about our attitudes shaping our reality, about emotions not as enemies but as teachers. Throughout the book, there’s a steady invitation toward peace, joy, and purpose — not in a cliché way, but in a grounded, human way.

And then there’s the chapter on death.

I didn’t expect it to be my favorite. But it was.

Who writes about death and leaves you feeling clearer… lighter… even more alive? As I read that chapter, something shifted in me. It reframed fear. It softened resistance. It reminded me that meaning isn’t found in avoiding endings, but in how we live in between them.

29 Degrees didn’t just give me insights. It affirmed truths I’ve been walking toward for years. It felt like a companion on the path — a reminder that even setbacks carry grace, and that peace is always closer than we think.
