1943: Moscow

The Red Empire is dying—slowly, violently, and unwilling to accept its fate.

After the brutal winter of 1942, the Allied powers stand on the edge of their greatest gamble: a march on Moscow itself. From the ruins of Minsk to the shattered lines of Smolensk, British Comets, German Panthers, French mechanised brigades, and Polish liberators carve their way east through the collapsing armies of Stalin’s tyranny.

But Russia will not fall quietly.

Across the frozen plains, the Soviets pour every last soldier, tank, militia fighter and NKVD enforcer into the Mozhaisk defensive belts—the final walls protecting Moscow. What follows is the largest artillery bombardment of the war, a storm of steel and flame that tears the earth apart as the Allies force their way through trench, bunker, forest and fire.

Inside Moscow, famine and terror battle hope and defiance. Civilians are conscripted overnight, archives are burnt or evacuated, and the Kremlin prepares for siege. Stalin’s paranoia becomes command doctrine. Every street is a barricade. Every window becomes a rifle port. Every man, woman and child, a defender.

As the Allies reach the city’s shadow, the world holds its breath.

Moscow is the prize.
Victory or catastrophe is the cost.
And the deadliest battle of the war has begun.
