It doesn't get any better, the cast the production,
the story, the gentle humor, most of all it makes the german people appealing and fun.

Still The Best

This is one of my most favorite authors, narrated by one of the best orators I’ve heard.

Series is worth continuing to hear, but not binging*

& listen at fast speed in talking-head scenes. Those scenes are crucial, but not scintillating. Kudos to Eric Flint—a master writer who has himself another nice series. Review by Rick, April 26, 2018

I liked that it was split up into two separate books. was good story. ok

Best to Date

Plenty of daring-do and the wry sense of humor has you chuckling most of the time. Character and plot developments continue which just enhance the experiece. My only criticisms is that one can’t easily tell which title is next in the series but that is mostly an Audibles formatting issue.
