The Bible is full of the stories real people like you and me. I am also fascinated with their encounters with Jesus our Lord and Savior. They met Jesus in person, heard His teaching with their ears, and witnessed Jesus’ miracles and healing with their eyes. How blessed they were! There are scores of such people’s stories whose lives have been changed forever after they met Jesus Christ in person.
They range from Jews to Gentiles. They are from all walks: A fisherman, a couple of Jesus’ 12 disciples, a Roman centurion, a blind man, a mad man, a mother whose child was sick, a paralyzed man, a tax collector, a Samaritan woman, an adulterous woman, a dying man on the cross, and a doubting man who was allowed to put his finger into the side of the Risen Lord. One thing in common among them: after their encounter with Jesus, their lives never remained the same.
