couldn't quit this one. I can't wait for the sequel, which, considering the ending, is probably coming.

This is the best book ever

I did not understand the last part about the letters but I also understand that I think Henry did not understand the letters ether though.

I did think this book was really good, I would like to send a special thanks to the author this was definitely in the top ten favorite books I've ever read,and trust me I've read about a million books in my life and I'm only 9 years yeah I read a lot I know

Wonderful and creative!

I've revisited this series often and have enjoyed it every time. I highly recommend this book as well as the two that follow it.

The Curious Start to a Brilliant Tale!

N. D. Wilson is a wonderful author. He both intrigues and spell binds his readers with the expertly crafted words he uses. Russell Wilson narrated this Audible very well, and gave life to the words on the page. Unfortunately the book starts very plainly, I almost didn't want to listen further. However after the first few minutes I became more interested. I was also quite confused by all of the names that included "Henry". There is the town Henry, the protagonist Henry, and his cousin Henrietta. After I little while of listening though I understood very well. The story doesn't have much action, but does have plenty of magical mystery. 100 Cupboards it a story that makes me feel as if I could stumble upon a few magic cupboards myself. It also warns me to be very careful of what comes through them.

As a final note, N.D. Wilson posted a while ago about pitching ideas for a movie, based on one of his books. He did not say which. I do not think this book would make a good movie. It might if combined with the others in it's series, but not alone. I do believe that the Ashtown Burials would be a magnificent addition to the movie world and to your Audible Library.

Great narration

It took a little while to become fully immersed in the story, but it is well worth the effort. I've already ordered the next two in the series.
