10 Spunky Monkeys is a rhythmical, poetic children's book that teaches counting, individuality, and the gift of friendship. Bailey does a great job of bringing the narration to life. The monkeys are all diverse in appearance & interests; they each do their own thing, yet collectively, they all get along. I also have the paperback, so my kids can see the illustrations and read along. It has become a quick, favorite bedtime story as some of the Monkeys at the end (spoiler alert :) ) are napping!
