1 & 2 Samuel: Grace Amid Failure (The Unshakable Faith Series, Volume 9) is a thoughtful Bible study guide designed for individuals or church leaders seeking deeper insight into the Old Testament.
Through thematic explorations, reflective questions, and clear explanations, this resource uncovers how God's faithfulness endures through the lives of Samuel, Saul, David, and others—highlighting themes of repentance, redemption, and divine sovereignty that point ultimately to Christ.
The Unshakable Faith Series is designed to equip Christians to apply the timeless biblical truths to modern life without overwhelming complexity.
1&2 Samuel pulses with the grace and love of our living God. He is calling you just as He was calling His people.
Through the tough questions people are asking today and honest answers, The Unshakable Faith Series strips misconceptions away and reveals why 1&2 Samuel mattered to Jesus, His apostles, and the early church – and why it still matters to you today.
About the Author
Schalk Bornman is a writer and novelist. After many years in London, he now lives in a farming community in rural England.
He studied Psychology, Greek, Hebrew and theology before becoming a Bible scholar. He served as an army chaplain before he became a minister in the Dutch Reformed Church.
His calling is to be a Verbi Dei Minister, i.e. a Servant of the divine word. This currently finds expression in writing Bible study resources.
He holds orthodox Reformed views in line with the original reformers. He is especially concerned about uncontrolled division among churches, which he believes is undermining the Gospel.
His debut novel is How to Kill a Good Man under his pen name, Adam S. Hamilton.
He aims to finish a study on every book of the Bible. These study guides are available on Amazon and every purchase is highly appreciated.
