Gay sexy stories set to the irresistible beat of the city.

Many a confident urban gay man in the Castro, West Hollywood, and Chelsea was once a wide-eyed newcomer. Every year thousands of young men arrive in these queer-friendly neighborhoods, seduced by city life and its sexual possibilities. In Where the Boys Are, Richard Labonté collects raunchy memoirs and stories about these newly arrived country boys. Here are stories of first times, initiations, bars, backrooms, dance clubs, and parties, reading (or misreading) the codes - and sometimes teaching those city boys a thing or two.

Life's too short to waste it listening to such a horrible book. I really enjoy gay erotica, though I'm a female. But this is the absolute worst I've ever listened to. Well, let me alter that, partially listen to. Because I couldn't make it more than maybe an hour into it. I kept waiting for it to be better, then it became to unbearable to listen more. If it got better, I don't know about it. But I know I regret not being able to get that hour of my life back that I spent listening to this book. What makes the book bad: 1. I couldn't tell when one story ended and another began. 2. Of the 3--I think--stories I listened to, there was nothing remotely erotic or even romantic about any of them. 3. The narrator does not fit erotica; of course, these stories weren't erotic either, so.... 4. One of the stories--the last one I was listening to before I gave up in frustration and utter disappointment--didn't make sense. In conclusion, DO NOT BUY! Find some other, actually erotic erotica that's enjoyable, hot, and makes sense and includes good narration.. But this most surely AIN'T IT!
