This was a very OTT hot and steamy book. Jay and Layla were great together. These two were drawn together even though Jay tries to fight his feelings for Layla. There is a little bit of drama in this book but Jay won't let his baby girl get away from him. I really enjoyed this book and I thought that Laurie West did a fantastic job with these two characters.

This is a very hot short story featuring Jay, a sworn bachelor and Barely legal Layla. It’s a slightly taboo story since she’s trusted to his care by her father. It’s hot, steamy and the narration is good.

I really liked this story. It was an entertaining and enjoyable take on an age gap and dad’s best friend romance. The characters were interesting and likable. Jay wasn’t prepared when his friend asked him for help, but he agreed anyway. When he followed through and met Layla he knew he was in big trouble. Layla was everything that he had ever wanted and he couldn’t have her. Layla was 18 and felt a little weird staying with Jay, but the attraction that she felt for him was overwhelming. The two of them shared an amazing dynamic that made them super sweet. There was steam plus a touch of drama and angst. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Listening to the audiobook was enjoyable. The narrator did a good job differentiating between the characters. I wasn’t a big fan of the male voice that she did but she was still able to bring the story to life. I recommend listening to this audiobook as well.

His friend’s daughter is too much of a temptation!! What will he do? Short and spicy!! Good narration still would prefer a male and female narrator but it was good! No cheating, no cliffhanger and wonderful HEA!!

This hit all sorts of things I love about instalove books. Layla is the perfect princess to her daddy. Emma Bray's descriptions of her through Jay's eyes, Is great, the line about when she giggles and he can't believe it filling the blond bombshell stereotype was beautiful. Her innocence yet determination to get her man. The teasing with outfits(big fan of the cheerleader one but that has been my thing), yet her real desire to have his attention as a person. Then Jay the older man who resists (though not long) and after he does they fall into a perfect rhythm for them. His claiming her in many ways was perfectly described to show their dominate/submissive dynamic. If there was any complaint it was over too fast. I wanted more and I hope to see more of this type in the future. Highly recommend!

Emma has done it again with an incredible book! I love her audio books, I never really get the chance to listen to audio books but I've been treating myself and not only listening to them but I like to read along with them at the same time!

Too much isn't a true statement...

You really done a great job, like usual! I actually love the voices and I love the storyline. The chemistry was HOT so so interesting so exciting, these 2 have such chemistry I actually love the voices and I love the storyline. The chemistry was HOT and so interesting, so exciting, these two have such chemistry together and I love reading about their journey to find each other.
