I’m actually sad it’s over. I cried, I laughed. I enjoyed every chapter of this book. Easily one of my favorites for 2024.

I absolutely loved this book! It was very clear that this story was thought out and made with future books in mind. It has a lot of cultural, character and diversity and it is done extremely tastefully. I love how the Mexican heritage is prominent, but not overdone. I also love the ability to skip the most triggering chapter without missing out.

Minor spoiler warning
I wish there was a better translation of the alien characters in the beginning, so that we as readers knew what they said more clearly.

Including how fast they understood each other using body language. Yes I believe that a lot of the body language would be similar as both species have very similar cultures, but I don’t believe it would be that similar or easy to understand. One game of charades and we understand how hard it can be between us humans, now imagine playing it with an alien.

I also wish that the narrators didn’t swap who was narrating for some side characters, including that the male/masculine characters were done by one of the male narrators and the female characters were done by the female narrator.

All in all I loved the story and characters! Would absolutely recommend

I loved this book. the story starts off accurately of how I think an abduction would happen. not all warm and fuzzy and although the is instant attraction I feel the author did a fantastic job making sure the trauma was addressed and the language barrier was a learned process and not your standard translator chip implant.
the dynamic of all the characters held my attention fully and created a harmonious blance that was perfection..
the narrators were amazing. the emotion I felt throughout the story kept me engaged and the accents were on point and made it very easy to know which chara ter i was focused on for POV.

This book is a delicious, why choose, monster alien romance. I ate it up and I’m now addicted. The Audio is so good. I definitely recommend it. We have some spanish words which I absolutely love hearing my culture in this book. Tortillas are my addiction. I felt so connected to the FMC and she’s a plus size just like me. I absolutely loved this audiobook. This is a dual narrative which the narrators did an amazing job. I love hearing Blanca Frappier. She has a beautiful voice and I’m her biggest fan. Her Spanish is perfect. P.J. Freebourn also has a very sexy beautiful voice. Which I’m now obsessed with.

I ate this masterpiece up!
