Just when you thought that these books might just start to get less angsty, we are proven wrong. Audrey has done such a great job at keeping me on my toes with this series, and books. Mini cliff hangers at the end of each chapter, and then she continues to pound with the angst, drama, suspense, but also giving us all the spice, and love throughout the book. The 4 couples continue to live life, get to know one another, but that doesn’t come with some sort of conflict for them. Learning about the past, what makes them tick or insecure but also finding ways to communicate and love each other throughout all the obstacles thrown their way. It’s hard to believe that when we get to the end of book three only 2 weeks or so have passed from the beginning of the storyline.
We continue to see the past characters make appearances. I also love all the families we have been introduced with from the candidates and bidders. Well, not all of them… Naomi’s family and Maia’s family that’s a different level. And, as a reminder in this on audio is on point. Multicast narrations that are just a chefs kiss. Great read and listen.

And the plot thickens. So glad I read Madam Alana’s book between 1 &2. Wish the audio on book 4 was ready a week early, finishing book four without audio now feels weird.

I cannot put these books down. I wish my “real-life” soap operas were written this well and kept me on my toes. We get more twists and turns and I know Ms. Carlan is not done surprising us or the couples yet.

Marriage Auction 3 is a continuation of the stories. It was very well done with all kinds of twist and turns and surprises, I enjoyed it very much. I’m looking forward to Marriage Auction 4.
