Shipwrecked on Marquis Island, three couples are drawn to an aging estate house. This has been a very exciting book. The narrator spoke in the voice of a master. The slaves really had the power in the narration. Their personalities stood out much more than those of the masters. Overall an excellent story.

I love Lizbeth Dusseau's books. I have never read a bad one yet. In addition, the narrator, William Reid, is one of my favorites His British accent is magnificent.
