Resumen del Editor

He'll pay the cost to his soul to keep her safe...

Now that Jacob belongs to Lady Lyssa completely, the need to protect her from her world has grown. Being viewed as property might challenge his soul’s integrity, but Jacob knows Lyssa needs everything he can give her.

For her, he will be a warrior, a friend and a lover. A man who will serve her in all ways, even if he has to betray the priceless treasure of her love.

Recommend listening to Vampire Queen's Servant, part one of Lyssa and Jacob's story.

About Time!!!

I was/am so excited for these books to be in audiobook. This did not disappoint. of course I had to wait for both books to be out before I listened to them... I would have went crazy waiting. Now I am going crazy waiting on the next one lol.
I absolutely love this series. It has all the feelings. Joey W. Hill has a way with words that will suck you in from the beginning to the end of all her stories.
If you want to read or listen 😉 to something that is sexy, hot, intriguing, magical, scary, sad, rip your heart out and stomp on it then put it back in and tell you that everything will work out and every other emotion you can think of this is it.
Hands down one of the best Vampire series ever!!!!

Great story

I loved this story and the characters. Obviously some hot and steamy erotica too but I had to finish listening to hear what was going to happen next with the characters. Well developed and written. Excited for the 3rd book to learn the story behind new characters that were introduced.

The continuation of a fierce, strong enduring love

Listened to audio narrated well by Keira Grace. She really brought this second book in the series alive. I enjoyed all of her various voices, making listening effortless.

This story continues right where 'The Vampire Queen' ended, after a relived memory. Lady Elyssa is still Queen but she's also dying and Jacob is determined to be with her to the end. He will do whatever is necessary to help prolong her life and give her a chance to secure her people's safety.
Hill takes us into a highly sexualized world of Vampires who enjoy using their slaves in creative ways. But she also draws you into the special relationship between Elyssa and Jacob that is outside the norms of the vampire world. A love so fierce and strong it transcends time and the machinations of others.

I LOVE this couple and have re-read this story many times over the years. Now that I have it in audio and I enjoy the narration, I'll be revisiting their story more often.

Phenomenal! Love, Lust, Danger, Intrigue and so much more… What more could you ask for?! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love all of Joey W. Hill’s novels but her Vampire Queen series is by far my favorite. The longing, lust, love and angst she so remarkably conveys with her unsurpassed storytelling draws you so thoroughly in that reality ceases to exist until the very last word. The world and characters she creates are so very detailed from the first few pages you find you’ve fallen so far down such a deep, dark, dangerous and unbelievably erotic rabbit hole you hope to never come back up. That’s what makes her such a phenomenal author and my absolute favorite far and above any other!

Keira Grace did a good job with the first book but I must say I found her narration for The Mark of Vampire Queen to be far better and excitedly look forward to hearing her narrate A Vampire’s Claim.
