Vanessa Mann is a trans woman who works as a streetwalker on The Trail in Orlando, Florida. Vanessa takes a trip to Haiti with a wealthy customer, and she returns a changed woman. Enter crooked police officer and recovering sex addict David Dimwick, the only remaining law enforcement agent on the local Orlando force with any knowledge of vampires, even if it was only a few courses decades ago, is put on the case, and the hunt begins.
Can David overcome his vices to catch the first vampire on American soil in 30, or will Vanessa find her way and escape as she transitions into the immortal life of a vampire?
