Here is the story of Ernie Klemper, a frustrated illustrator drawing cartoons for children's magazines. He yearns for a better career with creative freedom. He wants to be remembered for his art. But as a freelancer, his job only expands to drawing cartoons for adult magazines. Then one day during happy hour at the local bar, a previous co-worker whispers the words, "postage stamps," in Ernie's ear.

Ernie hopes that a job creating postage stamps will improve his situation with women and inspire him to create timeless and memorable art that will be licked and seen by millions.
