If you are into Goth and alternative fiction...this book will be addictive. Set in Detroit, we follow the protagonist and his friends as they navigate nights in the City of Detroit!
Detroit rock musician Abe Sulfaro (1970-2014) was making final edits on this book when he died,
“leaving us behind with wailing guitars and the long song of sorrow,” as written by music aficionado Dr.
Ted Fazzari. The novel transports one into dark, vivid streetscapes in the urban wasteland that was
Detroit in the 1990s. It’s a history lesson and an ode to all things Goth guided by Fade, a man of
ambiguous morality and constant introspection. Readers are left wondering if the events actually took
place. Sulfaro’s writing has been compared to the works of Leonard Cohen, John Lennon and Jack
Kerouac. The book has been adapted to the stage.
