But John has a dark side - and a past he won’t talk about. **Like the first book in this series the story was very HOT with loads of steamy and lustful sex. Lizzie and John have a very strong sexual attraction but have trouble sharing there feelings. This was another very enjoyable listen and i am looking forward to the next book...

What other book might you compare The Accidental Mistress to and why?

While the set up is generic there are many layers to this book. A strong determined female and although she did give in a bit easily at times he did as well. There is NOT a lot of hard play as in some of these other types of books-which did NOT hurt the plot. There are plenty of sexy scenes and several subplots to follow.

This IS a stand alone book but there are two other important characters that could each be explored-perhaps this is the beginning of a trilogy-please!

This book is another brilliant installment to the series.Unfortunately I've got to wait now for the next instalment and I hate waiting!! John Smith is so bloody lovely and Lizzie is kind, loving but sure of herself and confident. All in all it's a fabulous book. Portia De Costa sure knows how to write a good sex scene and with Imogen Church delivering the story you just can't go wrong.
