I absolutely loved the story. It definitely gave you all the drama suspense you could ask for and the love scenes were well find out when you read it some of the narrations didn't seem to go with the tone of the story but all in all great read!

I loved this book great plot and the right amount of steamy romance. This book was very well written and the people reading it did amazing.

There are lots of hot panty melting scenes in this book. Maybe a little too much at times, but is a girl to do when she has the attention of four hot bad guys. Justice may have needed saving at the beginning but she proved she could be tough by the end. I liked the characters but would have liked more development of them. Over all not bad.

Pawns, paranoia, betrayals, and secrets kept my mind reeling non-stop. The dynamics of the RH were intriguing, and I enjoyed most of the men. Bash was so volatile!!!! Dark, twisted, and depraved. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrators did a good job bringing it to life.

this one isn't my typical read and/or listen but I was recommended it so I figured why not. I must say I was impressed and want to see what happens next in the series.

Full disclosure I was given a code to listen to this and I don’t think under normal circumstances I would’ve read it - mafia dark romances typically contain subject matter I tend to dislike & I would’ve appreciated more clear trigger warnings (such as the drugging & assault of the FMCs best friend & degradation) but overall I enjoyed listening to this story and was surprised at how well the story tied up with a satisfying ending.

Spoilers beyond this point:
The level of angst in the men was perfect and I loved that they all fell for her in different ways/for different reasons, all before her former high school sweetheart caved, and that they were all very different men with well rounded backstory despite being in the same business and a tight knit family. And his revelations towards the end were heartachingly beautiful.

My only other complaint aside from the lack of clear trigger warnings was with the narration; it was stilted at times and there was a lot of weird pauses that I couldn’t tell if were poor audio quality or if they narrator made. But it made listening choppy & a little hard to follow.

first the narrators did a good job, the female narrator stumbled a couple of times, but overall it was a pretty good tempo.

the story itself really interested me, it has good bones but feel it would of needed more expansion on their backgrounds. a lot of the things didn't make sense on why the characters were doing what they were doing.

also the back and forth with bash and justice was a little too much. it was like wipe lash and I'm not even sure what reasons they either didn't or did stay together. ie she left him because she wanted him in the family business but then she didn't want him in it. he saying he was always going to end up in it, but wouldn't have if she stayed, but then says he would of anyways been in it even if she had.... literally can't figure out what they were actually talking about. it was very confusing at times.


I still gave it three stars as again I do feel this story has good feel, just needs a little more to it.

Justice went from one mess to another but she did it with all good intentions. she was just trying to save her friend and ended up as a captive. However, with this group, the "Knives" she was old aquaintences with the leader Bash as she used to date him in high school. With the time that had gone by, they had both changed to survive. Now she must survive his crew as their new sex slave to save her friend from her recent ex. Can she do it or will they break her? Can she get through to any of them to help her? you will have to listen to find out, no spoilers here.

These two narrators were new to me but they did an amazing job. look forward to hearing more of their work.

The story was so/so and the male voice was hard to listen to. Did not sound like a strong male character. Sounded more like a teenage boy.
