I had empathy for Stephane from start to finish, but I really loved him at the end of the story. Melanie and Stephane had a friends with benefits relationship that suited them both, until
Melanie got greedy and wanted more. Stephane had his reasons for being just friends , and Mel should have respected them, because she thought she didn't need entanglements. I liked the ending. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.

Wow!! This was an amazing story of one woman’s climb to the top. Melanie lets nothing or no one get in her way until Stephane. He makes her question everything in her life. Wanting more is new to her but Stephane wants a no commitment relationship. He has a secret that no one must know. Can she let him go or will she fight for the unknown? Definitely kept me on the edge of my seat.

Gillian did an amazing job. She nailed the characters. I am looking forward to hearing more from her.

I enjoyed this one. the main characters were not cookie cutter and the story was interesting.

I believe this is my first story by Susan. It was a good story. It seemed to wander a bit but it did keep my interest. Gillian did a good job with the different characters. I think it ended a little abruptly. Definitely worth a listen.
I requested this free audiobook and am giving an honest review voluntarily!

Wow this book still had me felling different but satisfied. The fact that the characters still keep living life and meetings other people makes it more real and passionate! Really enjoyed listening to this book!
