The story was pretty good. Too bad there wasn't more. The ending... not so much... It really did end without closure, but the story was pretty good.

Narration could have been better, but I didn't run for the hills.

it was sort of a sweet love story, surprisingly. Hopefully, they live happily ever after, but, I doubt it.

I took a look at the author before purchasing this book, and realized that most of her books are less than an hour long, but the story intrigued me, so I bought it anyways.

I think that the overall concept of the story is excellent, however, one hour is far too short for any love story that is new and did not previously exist. More background on both characters would have been nice, and more of a description of the atmosphere and locations would be great. Therefore, the lack of details and background aside, I think the story is very well written, and I do not regret the purchase.

The world created in this story is what is pretty common for this day in age, as far as it basically being post-apocalyptic as far as the humans are concerned. Humans have been taken over by vampires, are forced into hiding or slavery, etc. Common story, but very well written. I would LOVE to read a much longer version of this story one day. But until that time comes (if it ever does), I will be checking out more books by this author, whenever I need a quick break from the 10+ hour long stories I am used to listening to.

Better characters, more detailed scenes, longer story, more believable story.

No, I have listened to other book in this genre that were excellent.
