I love the story. Read it several times. I expected nit to like the narration since it was a man and many of the characters are women. This narrator did a great job though. You can actually tell the difference in characters with his narration. Extremely well done.

Another amazing Brides of the Kindred book, this series just keeps getting better and better.
Nadiah, Sylvan’s cousin, has the ability to see into the future. Forced into a blood bond when she was a child by her parents to a man she does not love she fears for her future with this mean, social climbing Male on her home planet.
Adam Rast, the male she accidentally does the lucky kiss with as part her cousin’s mating ceremony finds himself unable to stop his need to protect and be close to Nadiah. For some reason this male from earth has behavior which seems much more Kindred than Human.
Rast has volunteered to challenge Nadiah’s fiancé and be the warrior protector she has always fantasizes about, together they travel to her home planet as well as other worlds. It is amazing how many wonderful crazy worlds exist in Ms. Anderson’s imagination as well as original and exciting new storylines.
To top off this awesome addition to the series , it is narrated by
William Martin, who’s voice ups the sexy hot level of this book by 10.

There’s so much going on in these stories, I’m not sure where to start and how to explain.
All I know is that whenever I’m in the mood for an alien romance, all I have to do is grab an Evangeline Anderson book and I’m sure to be entertained

Great sci-fi romance

This is book number five in the kindred brides series and it is every bit as fun and exciting as all the rest. If you like steamy romance, and exploring exciting alien worlds you will love this addition to the series.

Sexy and Fun

I’ve listened to the first five in this series. At first I was put off by it being all sex and minimal story, but since the second book the story has become very interesting. Anderson has created a full universe for her characters to live and act within. This story could stand alone even without the sex, which is often thrown in out of context just to meet the expectations of the genre (which is why I gave this book 4 stars rather than 5). Either way, I highly recommend this series.

As for the narration: I’m glad for the new narrator in books 4&5. Although I’ve enjoyed the narrator of books 1-3 reading another series, her voices were unpleasant in books 1-3 of this series. I hope they continue to make this series available in audio format and they use the narrators from books 4&5.

The narration for this book was FANTASTIC!! I absolutely loved William Martin's voice and he did an amazing job for each character. His voice was completely captivating. When it comes to this series, its best if all books are listened to or read in order. This one gives Nadiah and Rast story, and what a story it is. I think this is the perfect story for paranormal lovers who also enjoy a great amount of steamy scenes in their story. Every book in this series takes you on an adventure and I enjoyed every minute of it. I've read all of the books in this series thus far, but I can't wait to be able to listen to the next book in the series. I truly hope William Martin considers narrating the next book.
