Ugh. I am buying the second part just to finish the story. But I didn't like the narrators for this book at all. By the end, the male narrator seemed to work his way into the role - but the female sounded too old and proper for a young Sheriff. Just didn't work, I had to imagine her voice was different just to get through to the end of the book. But, I love M. N. Forgy and the story was great. I just really wished there was another narrator. Honestly, I think I will avoid her voice for these kind of stories because it didn't click.

I really wanted to love the story but couldn't get into it. I adore MC type books, but this one had me rolling my eyes. I love flawed characters who have redeeming qualities, but I just couldn't with this one. However the humor was great. I will try book 2 and decide if I'll continue the series. Partly think the narrator is a reason as well. I'll decide when I read book# 2

Cant get enough, MN Forgy did it again and the overall writing was savage. It took me a minute to get used to the female narrator. She sounds way older then what you'd expect a young sheriff to be. This is a must read though, especially if you love danger, romance and hot bikers.

First off nobody does bad a## sexy crude talking Alfa biker quite like Forgy!
For fan's of the Devil's Dust series this one (even with a cliffhanger) is a must download.
This series like DD starts off with two characters that on paper not don't fit at all.
But in keeping with Forgy's style of writing the sexual chemistry between these two is so magnetic it's just a matter of time before their lust pulls them together.
This lead's to some Uber Hot sexy time's. And of course all that sneaking around to be together land's this couple in a few sticky situations.

This book offer's plenty of action in and out of the bedroom.
The narrator's in this series did do a great job but...
I must confess that I got spoiled with Joe Arden on the DD book's and wished he had done these too.

This series is definitely worth a credit but be prepared to spend two at a time because you will want to know what happens next for this couple.

Jillian was irritating. First she gets confrontational with a suspect (Zeek). Then she ignores her Lt and puts herself in danger by harassing then arresting the same biker. That arrest had a domino effect which resulted in a downed officer. Zeek was a honest womanizer that weirdly becomes attracted to his arresting officer. How Zeek was blinded by Frank is beyond me. Everything in the 1st 3 chapters regarding the club and the casino could’ve been avoided with some critic thinking on his part...it completely foreshadowed the last chapter. Clearly Frank plays chess and Zeek plays checkers.

I would really like this story with a very different female narrator!! I'm sorry but gag....
i will not be listening to the other stories simply because of her!! i am legally blind in one eye and can't read without pain so I listen and unfortunately i Wont listen with thos female narrator.

Zeek is the epitome of a badass Alpha Biker he long ago locked his feelings up tight and all that's left is his Club, banging random Club whores and his violent bloody lifestyle. He's not ashamed of it nor is he sorry for anything he's done.... but when his path crosses with a feisty blonde Sheriff called Jillian all that will change. Jillian is a Rookie Sheriff, very much sheltered under her Lieutenant/Boss/Stepfather's wing but as soon as she, and her bff/co-worker, go to a doomed party she seals her fate forever. Zeek and Jillian have crossed paths before - the sexual pull is there for them both but, like oil and water, surely the lives of a dangerous Oulaw and a sparkling naive new Sheriff won't mix?

So they try to steer clear of each other knowing what's at stake for them both if they don't but they keep crossing paths with one another and it's not long before the infatuation turns into an addiction. That addiction is quickly fuelled by lust, sex and love which turns it into an all out obsession..... an obsession that's forbidden and will only end in death, heartache, blood and tears. An obsession that cruelly leaves the listener on a $%#€ing CLIFFHANGER ending while their tempestuous love story carries over to a second book... arrrrgh - I've got to throw something!!

This seems to be a spin-off from MNF's Devil's Dust Series because Zeek is Lip's estranged Brother but you don't need to have listened to that series first as this is all about Zeek, the cold heartless President of the much feared Las Vegas Sin City Outlaws MC and the unenviable and untenable dilemma that he and Jillian are faced with because a HEA ending seems unobtainable for them. She may have awoken his dormant feelings but Zeek has enemies... he made an Oath to his Brothers which he's broken and his controlling, devious, manipulative, powerful and dangerous Uncle Frank, who runs the show, is about to teach Zeek a very harsh lesson..... a lesson that will destroy everything he's fought for.

It has it's thrills as well as it's chills because there's violence but there's also a twisted love affair as the moth can't stay away from the flame and within the story are two soul mates who are totally wrong for each other and yet they put themselves in a potentially deadly situation to grab time to be together. They hold on tight to one another, share stolen hours where passion runs high and the sex scenes are hot but it's not long before Lady Luck retreats from the game...... now Fate and Destiny are running the show and they're about to deliver their first mortal blow. Dual POV's, narrators were ok but Jillian.... well all I can say is - how did she ever graduate from the Police Academy or been allowed to carry a badge?.... so, sadly her dumb ass lost this listen a star.

Worth a credit? If you like sexy tattooed Alpha badass Bikers who redeem themselves after finding 'the one' (as I sadly do) then you too will think this listen creditworthy. The dynamics between H & H were great and so was the push/pull build-up to their doomed relationship. There's suspense, funny moments, emotional turmoil, romance, sex, bloodshed, good and bad characters and a bitter-sweet love story. But I wish there had been a warning that it's a two book story - not because of the credits but because I would've waited until the second book became available... no actually - why split the listen up at all other than for financial gain? Come on Authors give your deserving fans complete stories that cost 1 credit and no cliffhanger endings to rant over.

I would definitely listen to Reign again. I loved this book so much I purchased the other books in this series.

What other book might you compare Reign to and why?

Reign is a fantastic MC book.

Narrators were alright; in other reviews, the female narrator has been criticized. I think it is her voice. It just doesn’t match what the character would be, ideally; however, the narration itself wasn’t horrible.
I just realized that this series is connected to Devil’s Dust. Yay. This is a good MC series but not up there of the likes of Signal Bend, Reapers’ MC, or Sheehan’s Undeniable series.
But a good fix if you need one. LoL
