What a way to end this series! I won't give major things away, but I can't contain how much I enjoyed this series and was happy to experience what the author created/put us through haha. I can't wait to start the spinoffs and added adventures, I am appreciative the author wants to continue writing in this world, I definitely wasn't ready for it to be over after this one.

Ok so big highlights from me....I loved the twists with Carlyle's mom and her back story/characters she "knew". I felt bad for one of her mates, I was happy he got to be with her for a short time though. I loved seeing some of the reunions throughout this series (esp one in the last book with a side character we got to meet). Loved that the different factions stepped up and helped out the crew defeat the baddies. Got some giggles with how Carlyle handled the fae (won't say more than that haha) and enjoyed again the powers becoming enhanced/improving as the story went along. There were some heart wrenching moments, but the author did a great job wrapping up the main story while giving us some hints on upcoming plots from this same world (can't wait for Jai's family to get what they deserve since that will be covered in a spinoff series I think!). Loved getting some of the back story from Haret's goddess, helped put things into perspective too. Carlyle has become this strong Qilin who has finally embraced 100% what she is, what she needs to do, and leans on all her mates to help bring peace to Haret and her friends and family. She definitely grew on me, especially her love of sweets and flying. The steam was well-balanced with the story progression as well in this one ❤️

Narration was good again, not as many issues in terms of quality as some of the others had. Definitely will be listening to these narrators again (they have been on my instant listen list for awhile anyway haha).

This series is interesting and different. I'm not sure each mate needed his own book but it was still interesting. The voice narrators were excellent! Props to them because there were so many characters in this series but these 2 narrators were so skillful you'd never realize it was the same female doing all the female character's and the same guy doing all those different male voices. How they did that and didn't get it messed up is amazing to me. They are seriously talented. 👏👏 The ending wasn't my favorite. It ended with a big MMFMM and I'm just not into sword crossing. There wasn't an epilogue, a glimpse into their future as most would do after such a long tale. It was really kind of abrupt. They had a coronation for her and reception, which were both pretty skimpy on the details and felt rushed and then they're off having their organization and it ends. No, the ending does not suit the series, sadly. But the series is still worth a listen, definitely. This should be a box set, though, as short as these books are.

This series is my new favorite! So hot and well written. Probably not for all, but definitely at the top of my list!

I loved this series! The characters came to life for me. The plot kept changing but for the good. I loved listening to and even reading it. I believe I could do the whole series all over again. This author has me following all the books written by her. Get the series it won't disappoint you at all. It made me believe in fairy tales but on an adult level.

Duet narration with Lucas Webley and Vanessa Moyen was amazing! Lucas shows off his huge range of accents and Vanessa shows her impressive energy and emotion.

Carlisle and her guys got the ending they deserved! There definitely seemed to be some hanging threads that make me think we’ll see more in the Haret world, but for now I’m happy with how Carlisle and her guys have been left.

The harem has 6 guys and this book def picks up the spice! If you are wanting a really complex fantasy and epic adventure this may not be the one for you. This series definitely has plot and clearly defined unique characters, but it’s fun and spicy. I think it is definitely enhanced by the audio!

I enjoyed the series for the most part. But the sex is so over the top. like stuff is coming down, and you have to skip 2/3 chapters of sex. I enjoy spicy and sex, but this is just to much of the same sex.
