Paula had always been different from her school friends; to start with she was never as clever. They all went off to college, or university, after leaving school, and she went straight into work for a major Hotel chain, starting out as a server in the bar or restaurant, just to earn some money to move out of her parent’s house for her own independence.

Paula was also different from her friends in another way, as she was queer, and as this didn’t go down to well with her parents, so the job helped her to be able to move into a cheap bedsit, as at the time it was all she could afford.

Now over ten years has passed, and Paula is now the assistant Manager of the same hotel chain, but now she is working on the coast.

Life for Paula has changed as she now lives in her own one-bedroom apartment by the sea.

Paula has sacrificed a lot to have her dream including Chelsey who wasn’t willing to move away from London and her own new dream job.

Paula loved this time of year, the long hot summers with an assortment of guests staying in a full hotel. Plus, this meant the hotel needed to employ extra staff for the busy summer period, and Paula couldn’t wait to see who she was going to be working alongside for a summer of sun, sea, and sex, anything to take her mind off Chelsey.
