Excellent spice written by and for fat femmes. He makes a WHOLE MEAL out of her.

It reads like a gothic mystery as she figures out what's going on with the town. It's perfect for spooky season.
She's insecure about her body but the author doesn't belabor the point. Arie isn't weak or whiny.

I listened to the whole thing in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. The writing is great and keeps you hooked.

I don’t know if it’s the narrator or how the name of the town is actually supposed to be called but for a name that’s so prominent, it does not roll off the tongue. Lots of spicy scenes in this book with just a smidge of a story line is what I’d call it.

Let me first say over all I loved the book. It was hot and just a great listen. Now I think it could have been shorter. Almost too many doubts. I wish she could have let her ex go sooner. But, if your looking for a good, hot, sexy book this is for you.

This genre is not my typical genre, the book started off slow but it was intriguing enough to keep reading, I was looking for the plot and eventually it came and now I can't wait to read the next book!!!

I saw the author's video on TT talking about her books and I decided to check it out. well I am not disappointed AT ALL! can't wait for more audiobooks from this author

This was a very good book that I thoroughly enjoyed. I love that the heroine was a plus-sized woman and not some thin stick figure. I liked both main characters. The book has plenty of s&xy scenes. Raquel Beattie did a great job with the narration. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed her narration because I prefer dual narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

It was a roller-coaster of emotions. loved this story. Raquel did a fantastic job narrating it. this is my first book from Elle and it will definitely not the last. I identified with Ariana so much about her insecurities and how she was feeling about herself. Now I just need to find my Colburn.

This book is definitely for adults only, but I actually found myself zoning out on those parts in the audio waiting to get back to the plot. The narrator did an awesome job. there were a few places where she forgot to change her voice, but it didn't detract much from the overall performance. Not a spoiler, since it says it in the title, but the shifter aspect wasn't even explained until the last 20% of the book which was really interesting. I almost wish I didn't know what to expect because the suspense of the secret (that he's a shifter) was so well written.
