I enjoyed the and and really loved both Jude and kai. But I wish the narrator had put more emotion into his narrative. Don't get me wrong it was OK and intally it was the story that kept me listening.

It was a good story but the narrator is very bad. Never should be use again

Would I listen to it again: i'd be more inclined to read it - not listen to it
Did the story keep me engaged: reasonably
Was I invested in the characters: mostly
Story comment: sweet romance with likeable characters but there wasn't really "enough" to really draw me in.

Narrator comment: The narration is really flat and doesn't do this book any favors. The narrator has tried to put inflections into the characters, but he needs practice - it reminds me of an automated text book.
(it could also be that this was produced in 2015 and i'm reviewing it in 2020 and my expectations of audio has increased exponentially over the last few years!).

Ok.. so i love this author.. and i love this story.. but the narrator for me fell short.. there was no difference in the narration between characters.. it was very monotone for me and i didn't feel any emotions.. maybe this one just wasn't for me and others will enjoy this narrator but for me i wasn't a fan. but the story itself is amazing and i highly recommend this author.

The narration is so bad it's hard to hear if the story is good. Every. Word. Sounds. Punctuated. It. Sounds. Like. It. Is. Being. Read. By a computer program.

This book might be good, but I did not even finish it because the narrator ruined the story completely. He reads this book like he is a robot and has no skills .

Lost interest

I have never experienced narration quite like this. The voice was mechanical almost robotic. It was hard to imagine a live person reading the story. Such a disappointment.
