There is a lack of continuity in the story lines. Too often a certain scene was written only to later circle back to that scene and be rewritten with completely different details as if the first time didn't exist.
In the first book the MFC's son is kidnapped with a million dollar ransom. She finally asks her employer for a loan. Two different versions of how that plays out. They get together as a couple. Much later after son is recovered and they are merrily together he discloses that the son was taken because of retribution for MMC's past. Absolutely makes no sense since they weren't a couple until after the resolution of the kidnapping.
Second book also plagued with multiple versions of previously written scenarios with totally different details.
The last two books were filled with wrong pronouns, mixing of first and third point of view and the actual spelling out of end quotes instead of the actual punctuation. The last was interesting hearing it being read by Virtual Voice.
Poor writing becomes even worse when Virtual Voice is applied especially with words spelled the same but have different meanings.
I can not recommend purchase of this box set.
