Alice London creates a female protagonist who’s in full control of her life and desires, but never loses emotional depth. The writing is raw yet elegant, filled with introspective moments that feel more like personal confessions than fiction. It doesn’t glorify or condemn—it just reveals.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars for performance is because I wish Alice herself had narrated it. Her voice would’ve added authenticity to a story that clearly draws from real experience. The current narration is fine, but hearing the author’s tone would’ve taken it to another level.
That said, the story lingers long after it ends. Thought-provoking, bold, and emotionally resonant.
