I love the way May Sage’s brain works. Her worlds and characters are well thought out. They are a lot of fun.

I thoroughly enjoyed this! Another great book in May Sage’s “Age of Night” series. This is a fun series no matter what book it is and they all kind of tie in together. But adding Shane East’s sexy voice as Luke just took it over the top! Not only did we get to hear his normal British accent, but we got to enjoy the Scottish accent too. Dreamy! And Lucy Rivers did such a great job at bringing out the sultry characteristics of Raine.
I loved everything about it. But my favorite part had to be Charles and his nicknames for Luke - especially at the end. It literally made me LOL!

The storyline was interesting; not having listened to previous books in series put me at a disadvantage since some of the back stories was missing. The narrators, especially Shane with that British accent, did a good job with characters.

This was the most fun listen while on my commute today. I want more of these two and could literally listen for hours more of their story. I bought this on a whim because I love Shane East and knew it would be a good listen but this turned out to be a great listen! It reminded me of The Originals and I just ate it up!! NOLA, Vampires, Witches, Shifters, ancestral magic, rituals, dark forces, fated mates, some spice, and ahhh so good! And OMG any time Shane pulls out the Scottish accent is melty goodness. Luke is a Scot so we get narration in Shane’s native British, character dialogue in Scottish, and then even NOLA American for some of the shifters. And can I request a book of Shane narrating in that accent! Perfection! This was my first time listening to Lucy as a narrator and she’s amazing! She was able to move into many characters flawlessly and duet narration together they made it feel like a full cast and I loved it. The story was intriguing, and a quick listen.
