AI is monotone, doesn’t make the cut and is too hard to follow individual characters. Honestly because of this I had to go back and listen over and over again,…I just didn’t make it far.
Unfortunately these days I cannot read books and can only listen so unless someone else is going to read the book to me, and help differentiate the characters by voice etc…I won’t be able to listen to more of these books. I was excited because it’s set in my state and surprisingly AI even said Ypsilanti correctly so I did have some high hopes, but couldn’t pronounce some other basic words correctly. I would rather listen to the NZ accent of the author than AI, even in Michigan.
