 As a young scholar, Edmund Donovan has been quite successful. Even before he earned his PhD, he successfully published two books about gender and cultural studies. Now he’s a hot commodity, and colleges on the East and West Coasts are trying to recruit him. He assumes he’ll end up somewhere like UCLA or Harvard. But then, he encounters a different kind of recruiter.

She takes him out for drinks, teases him, and flirts with him. She is from Nova University, a brand-new institution, one that is looking for innovative minds like his.

Edmund doesn’t know it yet, but Nova City was founded by Melissa Tander with one ambition: create a brand-new city where women can rule while men are reduced to second-class citizens—or worse. She would love to see a scenario where the boys are locked in chastity cages, collared, and kept as pets, slaves, servants, and playthings.

Her plans will need to be subtle, at least at first. That’s why Edmund doesn’t understand exactly what’s going to happen to him.

But over the course of a year, he will learn all about Nova City. He will watch as aggressive young women take more and more control. The few males on campus will start to stay quiet as they try to avoid punishments. After all, if they make any serious mistakes, they could be publicly paddled, stripped naked, and put on display.

Whether he likes it or not, Edmund will have to work through the terms of his contract. But even as he waits for the end of the year, one woman is determined to see him collared, leashed and on his knees before her, tamed and ready to serve.
