For a short story, there’s a lot of build up til Turner gets to her trademark sexy times. New York girl Charlotte has been given refuge by her Aunt Tracy in Bridgeworth Pines, Connecticut. She’s lost everything and has been ostracized by most everyone because her father is and has been a major corporate investment swindler. Having lived with chefs on call, there’s a tough learning curve starting to work at a local bakery. It’s Malcolm, the super hunk son of the owner, who takes charge of teaching Charlotte.
The Virtual Voice would have been passable if there weren’t so many mispronunciations. Also, sentences & paragraphs ran together without appropriate pauses.
