Loved this book and when I saw Shannon Gunn had narrated it I just had to try it. Fantastic, can't recommend it enough!

Yes, it was diverting and fun to listen to.

Which character – as performed by Shannon Gunn – was your favorite?

Adam.I thought his voice and demeanor was perfect for a young college guy. Josh sounded too rough and condescending, even though what he said was not. That made his character a bit discordant.

Do you think His Roommate's Pleasure needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

It is not necessary, but it would still be fun to follow their future.

Any additional comments?

Really nice listen overall, if you like that kind of thing. It is quite explicit, and I understand not everybody is open to that. I thought it was well worth the money.

I read this story on my kindle a long time ago and really liked it. I think Lana did a really good job of showing BDSM positively. And I really liked both Josh and Adam.
And overall, the narration was actually great. Except for Josh's voice. It was so totally obnoxious. Mr Gunn did a great job at the other voices and did emotions and passion really well. Because of that, I might try another book he's narrated.
If you like MM romance with BDSM elements, this is a good story. If you try the audio and can't get through it, read it yourself. It's worth it.

The voice that the man does for “josh” is really off putting and kept me from liking the character. The plot is sexy tho!

Yes, this book was hot, pure smutt... And I loved it!
It was not your typical coming-out romance, because it explores the arquetipes of a new D/s relationship at the same time as the main characters are discovering each other and themselves in a deeper level...
Or its just pure smutt and Im justifying it so I won't feel like such a deviant because I LOVED IT! LOL!
Great debut novella! Can't wait for more of this author.

On the narrator... Well, I really like the work he's done in other books, and during this one, his narration and rendition of Adam was great, but I just HATED Josh's voice... He sounded like a douche, which convince me to get the ebook version better...

I did not like the story. It was too short. to do justice to its characters. The voice for Josh was old era surfer lingo that did nothing for me but made me cring. I could not even finish the short review.

I enjoyed the story, it was sweet and charming, but the "frat bro" voice the narrator chose to do for Josh grated on my last nerve and made it impossible to relate to him or take him seriously.
