Catherine was an amoral woman (without morals) as if her consciousness forgot to include it. If she were alive today, we might perform a scan of her brain to determine if there were signs of a sociopathic personality. However, her charred remains are long gone, moldering in the dark earth of France more than 600 years ago.
Lauren came into her life to make up for all the harm that Catherine did to many people, their families and communities. Her soul decided Catherine did not learn what she was supposed to learn in that lifetime, so she entered the Lauren Lifetime to “feel” what Catherine’s victims, both willing and unwilling, anguished, tormented, haunted souls, felt. Lauren spent most of her life make amends to all of them by experiencing what they experienced – through her own body, heart and soul.
A vital object lesson in karma.
This book contains an important warning to all people. Karma can be like a ravenous beast that must be satisfied and healed by one’s soul. Sometimes the repayment is terrible beyond imagination. Usually also, karma may bide its time, waiting for the perfect moment to let loose the karmic ties, like wading through many lifetimes to appear. At that point, the person may not have any protection (Lauren didn’t) from family, friends, police, money or influence. That soul will be like a small, unprotected, vulnerable child, bearing the full weight of his or her karma for an extended period of time. Ask yourself, dear reader, to examine your conscience. Is there anything you want to change, ask for forgiveness, or say I’m sorry? Each thing may seem small, but it could be added to others to create a huge karmic burden for you.
Lauren invented Lauren’s Law which states: grace trumps karma. That means if you take measures such as forgiveness, apologies, making amends, avoiding blaming others, changing your unkind behaviors to loving kindness, etc. could mean you do not have to experience the full weight of karma or can even avoid it altogether.
