For over a year, Lacy's father tried finding Chase. It was as if he had disappeared off the earth. The one thing Lacy hadn't counted on when she stopped by Hunter's Pharmacy to purchase a couple of items, she would come face-to-face with the man who took her heart when he walked away. Delivering a pack Chase had left at the pharmacy allowed her to see that Chase had returned.
This was all well and good, but Chase's return sparked the mind of another, who would stop at nothing until she had Chase where he belonged, with her. Chase and Lacy will have to remain clear of this person trying desperately to end Lacy's life, all to be with a man who doesn't love her. To top things off, Chase has to deal with another issue that sends him to his knees.
