I was able to enjoy this story through the audio version, which I must say was wonderful. Kudos to both the author and the narrator for bringing this erotic thriller to life. I'm a fan of Starta's work and I definitely was not disappointed when listening to this work. I also picked up the digital copy and read the story, to gain a different perspective of the story. I was impressed by both versions of the story, and I am honored to be a part of this story. The premise is quite interesting, falling in love is illegal. Marva is a strong powerful character, going against all that she holds dear for love. It's about survival and love, along with steamy scenes that add to the story, and do not detract from it.

This story took me by surprise. The world and elements in the story are different than my normal which was very new and different. It was a welcome change to have a different type story. This is my first with the author and narrator which is both well written and narrated. I am sure if won't be my last. You should give this one a try and I am sure you won't be disappointed.

This is the first book I've listened to from this author and i enjoyed its different twist on reality. I certainly gave me something to think/wonder about. This book kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what would happen next. The story was interesting it has different elements put together like a good soup. It’s a thriller and a romance and it has plenty of erotic scenes, all of which combine into a good storyline. I liked the narration as well it helped the book come to life.

I have to honestly say this was the most informative book I’ve ever listen to or read. The author and the narrator have done it excellent job. This is one book you have got to read, unbelievable.

This is my first book by Gary Starta. This is parts erotica, science fiction, and mystery/suspense. In some respects I really enjoyed the story and various components. However, I struggled with the sheer number of characters referenced, scientific terminology, changing perspectives with no indication, and numerous "flash back" sequences - all of which I found overwhelming in such a short story.

I think the narration by Michelle Jones also served to confuse things. While she has a pleasant speaking voice and used a variety of voices and tones - she wasn't always consistent with what voice she used for various characters. I ended to up reading along with the ebook to help clarify who was talking and when.

I received a free copy of this audiobook from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

This is my first listen by this author and I was impressed by the complex, yet understandable genetic and medical engineering by the women on the island. I wish the story had been longer, but even so, the characters were very well developed. So much that I was wondering why Mavra had fallen in love with the drone, but every connection weaved together in the end and I really liked the ending! I felt that the narrator spoke too quickly at times, almost like I was listening at 1.5x speed. The action is already fast -paced, so she could have slowed down so we could enjoy the fun island moments more.

This is the first work I've listened to from this author and it was delightful. It is different than anything else i have listened to. It was a thriller and kept you waiting for what would happen next. Super quick and fun listen! I highly recommend it. Michelle Jones does an amazing job bringing Gary Starta's work to life!

I asked to receive this Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. This is the first time that I have listened to a story by this author. He has a very creative mind. This story has a thriller twist, eroticism, a person willing to right an injustice, and very sexy drones. It also has surprising twists. The narrator does a great job of bringing the characters to life. She has distinctive voices for the characters and skillfully portrays their emotions. It is a story worth listening to and enjoying.
