I think this story could've been great. However, Alix is so friggin dumb it takes every ounce of restraint not to scream at her out loud rather than mentally like I have been. She's obtuse, selfish, and so uncaring about anyone else's situation. She's supposed to be acting like her grandma from 60 years prior, or at least like the character of the book, but the book is barely referenced after several chapters. Seriously, she never even THINKS about the book or her grandmother when people ask her questions about herself. It's just so dumb. She's not fooling anyone because she's just bumbling around. OMG

Both the MFC and MMC voices were spot on, helping you connect with all of the characters. Storyline brings you in. Quite a bit of spice, but in a good way. Looking forward to the rest of this series!

What a fun ride! The banter, the chemistry, the characters, the world building, the meta story within a story. The blend of beauty and the beast elements and Anastasia. It was perfect. If you like the show once upon a time you’re going to love this. Guaranteed fun read 10/10

Obsessed! 5 glowing stars! 🌟 This is a Beauty and the Beast meets Anastasia mash-up, and it delivers! I couldn't put it down. I definitely recommend it!

I struggled through our different parts of this book. I really enjoyed the main plot line about the curse. Some of the sections just felt like they took too long to get through. But overall good read.

First off the Female narrator is not necessarily bad at her job actually maybe she is too good because The FMC is so entitled, immaturel, very self centered, whiny, a coward, Inconsiderate, rude not smart at all. Their really is not much redeemable about her personality or character that makes her relatable or someone you want to root for or care about. And the Female narrator does a good job of portraying this even more with her talent of trying to very ccurately portray the essence of the character through her voice. So I say the narrator is too good at her job and made the FMC sound even more excruciatingly more annoying then probably reading the books with out the audio book. The Male narrator is phenomenal with his Irish accent and other voices for the characters unfortunately he does not speak as much a the FMC. The plot would has so much potential and this would have been a much better story if the 2 main character where more likeable. For the most part I do like tha MMC but he does have moments to that made me cringe alittle. and the Romance feels just lusty and no deep feelings of Yearning. The side characters are actually the most likable characters. Lastly the pacing is off too short for this gs that needed more explanation and too long for things that were boring and did not matter. Honestly if you are going to check it out and read it I suggest reading it on kindle unlimited first before you decide to spend money on the Audio book. they only good thing that I liked about this book was the characters art at the top of every chapter. Different scenes from the chapter are displayed for each chapter which was really cool amd creative other wise this book is not for me.

Audio book not worth it! If curious read it but not sure that would even help.
