It’s gotten harder to focus lately, and many of us who used to listen while commuting now find ourselves with smaller, more interrupted listening blocks. But I still crave the sense of accomplishment in doing something from start to finish, which is why audio essays, short audiobooks, podcasts, and even speeches and letters feel more manageable these days.
