Plot 

Husband and Wife centers on secrets and familial intrigue. The story opens with the murder of Sarah Grayson in Nottingham’s Lace Market. Months pass with few leads, but Sarah's death heavily impacts Nicola Vance's family.

A car accident severely injures Nicola's son Parker and his spouse, Luna. This prompts Nicola to investigate the changes in Parker's life. She discovers a blood-stained scarf linked to Sarah, which is linked to a web of deception involving both her son and her spouse, Cal. Meanwhile, a police investigation, led by DI Helena Price, uncovers ties between Sarah’s murder and Jack Benedict, an online alias used by Cal.

Gradually, Nicola unravels her husband’s double life, which includes his involvement with Sarah. When Parker awakens from a coma, his cryptic warnings only increase Nicola’s doubts about Cal. She knows her husband is a liar. But is she married to a murderer?
