This second-chance romance about two authors with a dark past is one of my all-time favorites. Williams pulls you back and forth through time while taking you on an emotional rocket ship of a journey. It’s heart-wrenching, funny, and very sexy. You’ll want headphones on if you’re planning to listen around the fam.

I recently listened to this collection of Dolly Alderton’s advice columns from the UK’s Sunday Times Style and felt bereft once I finished. Listening to Alderton’s compassion, humor, and wisdom felt like hanging out with your coolest, smartest friend, which makes sense since Alderton is also a bestselling novelist and is adapting Pride and Prejudice for Netflix.

No other piece of culture has had more influence on my writing than this book and its screen adaptations. In this Audible Original version, the classic is brought to life with an all-star ensemble, including Sandra Oh, Catherine O’Hara, and Victor Garber.

This is the quintessential novel about summer, friendship, and growing up. It’s the kind of book that you want to read every year when the weather gets warm. The audiobook, which is performed by more than a dozen actors, will be my travel companion during my book tour.

I recommend this book about art, inspiration, and creativity—read by the author, Elizabeth Gilbert (of Eat, Pray, Love fame)—to anyone interested in writing or tapping into their creative life.
